The Big Show - University of Derby
'The Big Show is a series of live events and exhibition across the city of Derby. It offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the very best of emerging contemporary art and design practice from our final year students. Their work explores the issues and subjects of today's world also looks ahead predicting and setting the trends of tomorrow'.
Visited the Private View of the University of Derbys graduating students. Fantastic work on display, very inspiring such wonderful work. Great night.
Andrea Tilbrook - BA (Hons) Illustration student's work.
Was fantastic to see the work of Andrea and her work at he show. Andrea has just graduated from University of Derby with a fantastic portfolio of illustration work. Andrea was a former student of Leek School of Art completing the Foundation Degree in Creative Art & Design Practice in 2012.
Andrea had produced a wonderful book inspired by one of her children.
Another ex-Leek School of Art student Oscar Smith had his work in the exhibition. Oscar graduates from BA (hons) in Producet Design. He studied with us at Leek School of Art on the BTEC and Foundation Diploma in Art & Design before heading of to the University of Derby. Was great to see the fantastic furniture that he had designed for his final show.
