New student Art & Design ' taster day'

The new students came in to college for a taster day. was great to meet the' new  ones' who will be starting in September - lovely bunch. The students did a range of activities; started by photographing the college, finding interesting patterns and textures around the campus. They then spent time on Adobe photoshop creating patterns with their photographic images. These were then printed on acetate and paper and the 'newbie's then used these to create emulsion transfer's and sellotape transfer's before using these experimental surface's to create a 3D folded 'book'. 5 hours at college, free lunch, photography, graphics and mixed media image making and (hopefully) a happy bunch left college. Was a great day. Look forward to seeing them all again in September.
